You can also share particular events with others.

The Big Story Challenge
NDCS are launching a new competition called The Big Story Challenge and we would really appreciate your help in sharing with members of your group. You could share our post here on Facebook or email your members the information below.
What is it?
We’re launching The Big Story Challenge in collaboration with ITV Signed Stories. Deaf children and young people aged 8-18 are invited to create a 500-600 word written or signed story, with pictures, about any subject they choose.
The three age categories for entries are 8–11, 12–14 and 15–18. A winner from each group will have their work transformed into a Signed Story available on the ITV Website! Winners will also receive book tokens for their school.
Who might be interested?
· Families hoping to improve their child’s literacy, or find outlets for their creativity;
· Parents looking for fun activities to share with their child – we have a parent’s guide full of ideas!

They’ll find all the details to submit an entry, the Parent’s Guide, and we’ll soon have some video resources from an author and an illustrator too.
